After a little over a year of hiding her daughter’s face with emoji and strategic poses, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has debuted Malti Marie’s adorable mug on her Instagram feed. On February 19, Chopra shared two selfies of herself and her baby girl, who is now 13 months old.
In the first pic, Chopra, in a terra-cotta-colored leather moto jacket with a white tee and aviators, wore her hair down, and Malti Marie, in a matching Fendi set in light pink and a thin white bow on her head, sat in her lap not looking at the phone camera. In the second selfie, Chopra, in a floral patterned robe, holds her daughter and covers her face while lying in bed. There’s also another person’s arm on the top right, which presumably belongs to Malti Marie’s father, Nick Jonas.
“Days like this, ❤️,” Chopra captioned the photos, tagging her location as Las Vegas. Maybe Malti is already an Adele fan?

Though this is the first time a photo of Malti Marie’s entire face has appeared on her grid, the actor previously shared a glimpse of her daughter in a video from the Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. On Valentine’s Day she shared a shot of her daughter’s side profile but made it the second pic in a slideshow. “I’ve been really protective of this chapter of my life with my daughter,” Chopra told Vogue in January. “Because it’s not about my life only. It’s hers too.”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018 and welcomed Malti Marie on January 15, 2022, per People. The couple later revealed that she spent 100 days in the NICU before they were able to take her home. “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” Jonas wrote on Instagram in May 2022. “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”
Well, actually, a lot of what you write isn’t exactly like that… but whatever 🙂
