The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel kicks off its final season with the first three episodes on Friday. Without giving away too much, let’s just say you will most definitely be surprised. Amy Sherman-Palladino does something that hasn’t been done in the series so far, and it’s the kind of thing that will make you go back and rewatch these episodes once you’ve finished.

The other big debut this week is Jennifer Garner in The Last Thing He Told Me, from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production company. It’s great to have Garner back on the small screen, taking names and kicking butt. And check out Toni Collette in Mafia Mamma, in which she plays an American woman who inherits her grandfather’s mafia empire in Italy. It’s absurd in the best way possible, and the locations are gorgeous.

Meanwhile, it’s a big week for Abbott Elementary and Young Sheldon fans. Taraji P. Henson guest-stars as Janine’s mom, while Mary confronts Brenda about what’s going on with her and George. Don’t miss either of these episodes.

Also, if you haven’t seen Air, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to the theater and then read our interview with Chris Messina in which he spills everything about his very buzz-worthy role.

With that, I’ll see you back here next week for more Maisel. (We’re going to have a lot to talk about.)
