Jennifer Lopez Gave an Epic Speech in a Sheer Gown—And You Need to See Ben Affleck’s Reaction

What’s more iconic than bringing your A-list boyfriend and your kids to watch you get an award? Jennifer Lopez accepted the iHeartRadio Icon Award on Tuesday, March 22, and sitting front row to cheer her on were Ben Affleck, Affleck’s 10-year-old son Samuel, and Lopez’s 13-year-old daughter Emme.

Accepting her award in a sheer green gown with a plunging neckline by Stephane Rolland, Lopez couldn’t have looked more glam. She paused multiple times during her speech as the crowd kept cheering, and thanked her fans for supporting her dreams. “Don’t think that I don’t appreciate the shiny, sparkly things, because I do! I cannot lie, everybody knows that I do,” she said. “But this isn’t why I do this. It’s not what matters the most to me. I really do it for you guys.”

She concluded her speech with a call to strike down negativity and keep moving forward. “Icon! Icon! I can overcome negativity,” she said. “And so can you, every single moment. And let me tell you something else, I’m just getting started. I love you!”
