Bennifer isn’t the only thing making a comeback after 20 years.
On November 24, Jennifer Lopez Affleck announced her ninth studio album, This Is Me…Now, a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me…Then, which was released while she was first engaged to Ben Affleck. 20 years later, she’s ready to dedicate a new album to her husband.
In fact, This Is Me…Now will even feature a follow-up to her song “Dear Ben,” titled “Dear Ben pt. ll.” Other track titles include, “To Be Yours”, “Mad in Love,” “This Time Around,” and “Greatest Love Story Never Told.” Sure sounds like a honeymoon album to me.
“This is me then, this is me now,” Lopez says in an Instagram video, recreating the album cover from 2002 before transforming into the 2022 JLo we all know and love.

Per People, the album “chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades,” including her rekindled relationship with Ben Affleck.
This Is Me…Now will be released in 2023 under the name Jennifer Lopez, though the artist legally took her husband’s last name back in July. “People are still going to call me Jennifer Lopez. But my legal name will be Mrs. Affleck because we’re joined together,” she said in a recent Vogue interview. “We’re husband and wife. I’m proud of that. I don’t think that’s a problem.”
She continued, “I’m very much in control of my own life and destiny and feel empowered as a woman and as a person. I can understand that people have their feelings about it, and that’s okay too. But if you want to know how I feel about it, I just feel like it’s romantic. It still carries tradition and romance to me, and maybe I’m just that kind of girl.”
