The Madaughter has landed. Lourdes Leon, a.k.a. Madonna’s 25-year-old daughter, has entered the pop arena with her first single, “Lock&Key,” performed under the moniker Lolahol. Perhaps a portmanteau of Lola and Warhol? Backward, it is “Loha-LOL” so that’s…meaningful? Anyway, it’s pretty catchy!

In the accompanying video, Lolahol hangs out in a cemetery with—and I don’t mean to be rude—some guy, goes mermaid mode in the ocean (she can do the splits!), and leans out of the window of a magenta car driven by a driver in a skull mask. You know, girl stuff!

Lourdes Leon’s famous mom hasn’t posted about the song (yet), and the comments are disabled on Leon’s Instagram, so, sadly, we have no celebrity congratulations to aggregate and report.

In June 2022, Leon walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week in the Marine Serre show, modeling the brand’s well-known crescent-moon-patterned bodysuit with plenty of gold jewelry. The singer, who has also modeled for Savage x Fenty lingerie and Burberry, among others, references another pop star with her lyrics…Lady Gaga. “No sleep, next plane, no sleep, make up, next club, next car, next plane, no sleep, no fear,” she sings, echoing Gaga’s now meme-famous interview clip describing her schedule early in her career.
